Melissa Hochman, PT, DPT

Dr. Melissa Hochman, PT, DPT completed her undergraduate work at Florida State University and Florida Atlantic University getting her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion in 2012. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2016. In her time there, she took advanced manual therapy courses including specialty classes for the cervical and lumbar spine and the pelvis in addition to extremity integration and myofascial techniques.

Over the years, Melissa has worked and gained experience in outpatient physical therapy clinics treating patients of all ages and skill levels including post operative rehabilitation in orthopedics, balance and gait dysfunction, sports medicine and manual therapy. Additionally, Melissa has volunteered in the community at events as an assessor for athlete testing for the US figure skating STARS combine in May 2019 and a hands on athlete assistant for the Ossur Running and Mobility clinic in 2015.

Prior to completing her Doctorate work in Physical therapy, Melissa was a certified health fitness specialist working as a personal trainer where she designed and implemented specific exercise programs for her clients based on their goals.

Melissa was born in Miami, FL and has been a Boca Raton/ Delray Beach resident since 2001. She grew up playing tennis and has continued to lead an active lifestyle with working out, cycling, and participating in mud runs and loves doing anything outdoors such as kayaking, boating, and traveling.
